Step inside a gilded dream where velvet drapes, gold leaf, and delicate floral motifs tell stories of Kaffee und Kuchen and elegant afternoon gatherings. Inspired by Mrs. Pabst’s Parlor—a French Rococo gem inside the historic Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee—this new taper candle design captures the romance of the past in a completely modern way. 

I was honored to be asked to create a special decorative candle for this breathtaking room. Known as the “Ladies’ Parlor,” it was where Mrs. Pabst would host guests for tea, cake, and lively conversation. Think porcelain teapots, whispered secrets, and fresh flowers beneath a sparkling chandelier. This room isn’t just a museum piece—it’s a vibe. 

My candle design features intricate gold scrollwork and soft pink florals, echoing the ornate ceiling medallions, carved moldings, and regal palette that define the parlor’s charm. You’ll find it soon at the Pabst Mansion’s gift shop—an elegant keepsake to remember a truly magical space.
